We offer employers specialized support and training to facilitate the integration of their foreign workers.

SANA offers a welcome and information session to these workers upon their arrival to facilitate their settlement in Quebec. This meeting can be held at the workplace or at SANA offices.

The following topics could be addressed:

• Registration in francisation
• Important documents to obtain to settle in Quebec (health insurance card, social insurance number, driver’s license, etc.)
• How to open a bank account
• Housing and Tenant Responsibilities
• Income Tax and Source Deductions
• Labour standards
• Human rights and freedoms in Quebec

SANA also raises awareness in order to welcome and keep newcomers in their jobs and can act as a mediator in case of conflict.
